Giorgio is one of the best guides we have had, he has an encyclopedic knowledge and passion of Sicily's history which helps to learn and understand the region. We also got good tips in each location of places to visit or where to eat as well as being able to skip lines at tourist sites. Having a guide like Giorgio saves alot of time and enables us to learn things which we would otherwise not know.

Giorgio was great! He is so very knowledgeable and took us to some very historic places and interesting vistas, in a very comfortable van! He then did an excellent job at customizing the tour to our requests...to a private villa that makes wine and olive oil, a tour of the farm and the villa by the owner, and we had a fantastic Sicilian lunch made by the owner's wife, etc. It was an incredible experience!

Fantastic tour of my wife's family home town of Sant' Agita Dimiletello and then Cefalu'. Giorgio was a GREAT guide that helped find a cemetery and piece of land that her family once owned. Giorgio was so knowledgeable about Sicily in general and specifically about that area. Great tour and would highly recommend Giorgio as your guide.

Terrific day seeing two absolutely amazing sites and the best possible way to get from Catania to Palermo. Terrific guide who gave just the right amount of information without going overboard. Highly recommend.

This was the best day of my recent two week trip to Italy. Giorgio was great, these are the type of tours he enjoys doing and it shows. By good fortune, he had recently done a tour to my ancestors village so already had a great contact there that was incredibly gracious and showed us all around the town. We visited the street where my family lived, visited their parish church and the main church in the town where a gentlemen who worked in records took us into the back office where we found my Great Grandfather’s baptismal record. We even, with good fortune, met the Mayor :). Again, Giorgio was great, very knowledgeable about all things Sicily that we talked alot about on the drive there and back and underlining again, he cares about helping and making these day special. Highly recommend!

Had a great day at the Valley of the Temples with Giorgio. He was a wealth of information and very helpful with suggestions on activities we should do on our own. Giorgio’s attention to detail and explanation of the various temples was fantastic. It was well worth the visit and would recommend the trip to anyone interested in learning more about the history of Sicily.

We travelled to various areas of interest near Palermo in Sicily. Giorgio was an excellent guide, he assisted us in planning beforehand and having grown up there he knew a fantastic amount of detail. His recommendations were very reliable and all in all we had a most enjoyable trip.

FI’ve had the most wonderful two days spent with Giorgio and tour guide from Pick Sicily. I organised to be collected from my hotel and taken to Cefalù and Castelbuono. From the very start Giorgio made me feel welcome and relaxed and safe especially as I was a solo traveller. Giorgio guided me through both towns and he was very knowledgeable about its history. My second day trip was to Agrigento. Wow what an experience! I was in awe of this historically place. Once again Giorgio exceeded my expectations on his historical knowledge. On the way back to Palermo he also took me to see the Scala dei turchi seaside cliffs. I had an exceptional experience with Giorgio. Grazie grazie grazie. I will definitely book with Giorgio again.

Our day with Giorgio C was even better than I hoped. We travelled to Lercara Friddi, where my husband's grandfather and father were born. The grandfather's death (Spanish Flu in 1918) cause the emigration to US. At the town hall, we found his father's birth record. After hearing about a few other 'family' stories, a local historian came along to find the house. It was gone, but his mother-in-law knew one of the people. We went to their house to chat. Remarkable! Bravo. We also visited the catacombs.

Giorgio is a wealth of historical knowledge. We learned so much about Sicily's place in Mediterranean history dating back to the Carthaginians. After 5 days touring the island, I am happy to call Giorgio a friend. Prompt, courteous and professional. Wonderful guide!
